I caught up with Becky this week and she has been busy on the catwalk launching Bra’s’n’  things Summer range and doing a lot of promotional work in Sydney for many high profile companies. Becky thrives on hard work and markets herself very well.

Becky is really excited about her current project and is working very had training getting ready for an international modeling competition in Singapore so we wish her the best of luck for the next couple of months.

Many of our Miss Surfest girls recognised Becky in our studio and aspire to follow in her foot steps.  I tell the girls that not only is Becky a stunning beautiful girl but she is a really beautiful person on the inside, very sweet and down to earth which I think makes her natural beauty shine.

In the planning meetign we went through Britt’s last shoot and had a look at those amazing images. She is such a beautiful girl and such an infectious smile. She explained to me how in all her photos she was smiling, she want to be creative this time, a little bit more edgy, more attitude and less smiles.

We had our Make up artist, Kim from Blush Brides join us in the studio where she did an amazing transformation on Britt, smokey sultry eyes with just a hint of color on her lips.

Brent did the first half of the shoot in the studio. He had Britt pose on the swing which always makes for a beautiful shot, we tied some color balloons on the swing. Lots of smiles and some amazing images captured.

Brent then decided to venture into the great outdoors. We are so lucky with the location of the studio that only minutes away are some really cool natural back drops, the dunes, the beaches and the bush.

Tommaree Headland at the world war II gun emplacements is a perfect back drop. Weathered metal doors welded shut, the graffiti of reckless youths, place gorgeous Britt in the middle and with Brent’s magic….pure art.

Tracy is 38 weeks pregnant and already has a daughter so her husband and her decided to have a wonderful series of Preggie shots done.

In our studio, they celebrated “the Bump”. The whole family had creative input into this photo shoot. The family has chosen to have their beautiful images displayed in a personalize album, such a beautiful way to keep images for a lifetime.

We wish Tracey and her family all the best of luck with the safe arrival of   “The Bump”. The team at Capture Imaging can’t wait for the phone call.

They have also promised to come back and have Brent as their family photographer when Bub’s is a little older.

Brent captures beautiful family moments, precious memories, valuable personal art that Mum will adore for years to come.

This is the 2nd time I have worked with Nicole. We photographed her model portfolio about a month ago and I was really impressed with her enthusiasm and style. Well done Nicole!!!

In the planning meeting Nat explained to us that she wanted to use the photo shoot to use for her portfolio. Nat wanted to break a little with the traditional shots and get a little creative. Together we created several different scenarios. The Hitchhiker worked really well and  one of my favorite shots of Nat was to the old derelict  world war 2 gunning tower on Tomaree Headland at shoal bay.

The very talanted Kim from Blush Brides did Nat’s make up. Kim has been in the industy for years and true talent in making women glow.   Kim spent hours with us on the modeling shoots and works closely with Brent during the shoot to make sure our models are looking fresh and beautiful.

Nat was great fun to work with and I am sure you’ll agree that Brent created amazing art for Nat’s portfolio. We wish Nat the best of luck in her very bright future and we look forward to working with her again.

The Studio was filled with laughter as, Mum & Grandmother donned the boxing gloves for a bit of fun while the granddaughters egged them on. Mum and Daughters got to have a turn as well.

 For all the fun that they had in the photo shoot and as all families they do argue from time to time, there was certainly a lot of love captured in these images on the day. The photos are a lovely reminder of good times together and a little piece of family history to be treasured in the future.

This was her first professional modeling shoot, naturally she was a little nervous at the start. As usual Brent and his assistant Alex with their laid back attitude were able to work with Tamara, showing her the ropes and letting her view some images as they went. Tamara could see the amazing images that we being produced, with that her confidence soared and I think you will agree that Brent has captured the true essence of this young woman.

The wind outside was gale-force so all the usual model portfolio locations in port stephens were out of the question. I love going to the stockton dunes to shoot models, but we would have been sand blasted. We decided to use the studio for as long as we could then go down to one of the protected beaches near shoal bay.

Because Anita has dark hair I decided to use my white backdrop in the studio. I only used 1 light to give a more artistic feel to the images…and make the white backdrop darker.

Alana (my makeup artist) came over and we decided to add some gold leaf to her face, and give her a spanish look. I had Anita dance for me in the studio and we got this stunning image….below.

Anita came to the shoot with a calm yet enthusiatic nature. She was really focused during the shoot and had a lot of fun dancing in the spanish outfit. She is an easy model to work with and had no problems getting into poses and holding them (while I moved lights around to get the best lighting). Alana helped me in the studio by doing last minute touchups to her hair and makeup, as well as holding the gold reflector to reflect light into Anitas face while she was backlit. Loved working with Anita as well as Alana, both are passionate about what they do….and it always comes out in the images. Also, a bit thanks to Alex for editing these images. Well done…. Brent

This last image was shot about 20 minutes after sunset at zenith beach. My camera was having problems focusing – it was that dark, but we still managed to capture this. Didn’t have time to set up my off camera lights – what a pity.
