Landscapes – Timelapse – Shoal Bay

My first timelapse video of Shoal Bay at night. Climbed Tomaree Headland at sunset and setup my canon 5D markII and canon 7D cameras to shoot this short video. Took about 90 minutes worth of footage for this 15 second video. What do you think?

Below are a few stills I shot at the same time, all very long exposures (3-5minutes). Which one is better? Enjoy. Brent

I think I like the bottom image, about 45 minutes after sunset, darker sky and more lights on in shoal bay.

I love these time lapse shots, what settings did you have it on

1 Shot (frame) every 5 to 10 seconds….video is 24 frames per second, so 1 second of video equals 2 to 4 minutes of real time.
